Bad beauty habits

I've read in a magazine something about bad beauty habits, im sure you could relate to this. Im going to share it with you.

LONG BATHS

Bad effect - excessive washing causes the loss of the natural oil in the outer layers of our skin, making it dry.

Prevention - when drying up after a shower, dab the skin; don't rub. Apply a moisturizer immediately, a lotion specifically, it would be best if it has a milk content because it has a natural moisturizing properties.

EXCESSIVE HAIR WASHING

Bad effect - washing our hair every day may make us feel clean but in reality, it strips our hair and scalp of their natural moisturizing oils, leaving you with damaged, brittle hair.

Prevention - make sure to shampoo your hair every other day for a shinier, silkier hair. Apply conditioner after rinsing or massage your scalp with drops of jojoba oil. Use those product that contain less of alcohol or none at all.

APPLYING LIPSTICK

Bad effect - lipsticks should be used in moderation as they can cause our lips to dry, most especially the matte variety although it stays longer on you, takes the moisture out of our lips.

Prevention - before applying a lipstick, coat it first with a lip balm or petroleum jelly. as an alternative to matte, use Vitamin E - or glycerin enriched lipsticks, as they not only keep lips beautifully colored but also well lubricated.

WEARING TIGHT CLOTHES

Bad effect - Clothing such as skinny jeans and tight capri pants constantly rub against your skin, making your intimate area sensitive.

Prevention - Use a mild feminine wash. It is able to restore moisture that is lost when skin gets sensitized. Recommended product is carefree daily feminine wash.
